Complete the analysis of the Madonna's and Leftfield's videos.  Read feedback on your Perfect PowerPoint's and improve and develop your slides.


Read through the two slide shows; Media Studies GCSE Representation first then Representation and Ethnicity.  Work through the activities in the slideshows individually.


Produce a PowerPoint presentation on 'Representation in Media' (add it on to your Perfect PowerPoint). The PowerPoint must be a minimum of 10 slides and contain the following information (both writing and images).
Slide 1: Title slide.
Slide 2: Examples of different types of representation in media.
Slide 3: Title: Representation - Ethnicity.
Slide 4: Explain the difference between race and ethnicity.
Slide 5: Examples of ethnic groups and how they are portrayed to the audience.
Slide 6: What is ethnic diversity?
Slide 7: Why is it important to have ethnic diversity?
Slide 8:  Explain what Tokenism is.
Slide 9: Examples of Tokenism.
Slide 10: Do you agree with Tokenism? - Explain your answer.
